Program Description

Our Programs and Services:

Graham’s House of Recovery is a sober living home that provides a safe. drug and alcohol-free environment in which peers support each other in their sobriety and learn new ways to cope with problems and conflict.  Staff at our sober living home are recovering addicts and alcoholics themselves and are able to provide support and advice to people who are newly sober.  We will work with the individual to develop healthy coping skills and daily habits to prevent relapse.

Graham’s House of Recovery offers a sober living program that allows both freedom and structure to co-exist.  12-Step meetings and other theraputic activities are encouraged as they teach newly sober individuals how to take care of themselves and monitor their recovery on a daily basis.  Clients in our program are able to able to work and attend outside meetings.  Clients have reasonable curfews and will be assigned chores and other projects to keep the house running smoothly with operating normal daily habits.  This way, our program provides our clients with useful skills that will facilitate their transition back to the real world.

The majority of people use sober living find that long-term sobriety is easier to maintain and that the social network and friends they meet in sober living end up being supportive, long-term friends.  Even after an individual forms new sober habits, a supportive network of friends and positive role models helps them maintain a drug-free lifestyle.
